When you require more content, the stapled booklet is best for presenting additional information than what can be achieved through the standard leaflet. The basic structure of a stapled booklet is made up of many folded sheets or pages that are stapled together on the spine; it is possible to create a stapled booklet beginning with 8 printed pages and extending to 56 printed pages using a combination of folding and stapling techniques. The professional clean finish of stapled booklets makes them ideal for use by a large variety of businesses, as they can be printed on either one side or two sides of an 8x11 piece of paper for maximum usage of space.
Perfect-bound booklets take a different route when preparing documents for printing that are too thick to be stapled. The perfect-bound booklets consist of standard printed materials where a large number of printed sheets/pages are glued securely along the spine, creating a polished, flat, square-edged look to the finished product. This method is commonly used for printing catalogues, magazines, brochures, and other types of marketing and information sheets because it produces a professional appearance and a solid, durable product. The thickness of perfect-bound booklets can be as small as 40 pages and as large as 120 pages.
Booklets sizes
At Book Printing, our standard sizes of printed booklets include A5 Portrait, A4 Portrait, 210mm Square and DL Portrait. We can print booklets on the completed size of the printed booklet; however, custom sizes may incur additional costs depending on the number of copies ordered and the complexity of the printed item.
Portrait Booklets
Portrait booklets have a wide variety of printed booklet sizes, including A4, A5, A6, and DL. Please contact our office if you need assistance in choosing a printed booklet size for your project.
Square Booklets
- Square-format books are offered in the sizes 148mm square and 210mm square.

Landscape Booklets
The books are published in landscape format, either in A5 or A4 format. If you would like further information, please contact us.
These are designed to be like actual postcards, however, if you would like more options of paper-weight, paper-stock and lamination finishes, then please see out flyer section as flyers are available in A6 postcard size also. But you could also make them any size!
